The Cockatiel

I would like to introduce another of my pet birds. My cockatiel is a small parrot. His name is Kiki. Cockatiels are characterized by an orange circle on their cheek, a long tail, and crest on their head.  Cockatiels live on the Australia continent.

 

The cockatiel is timid and lonely, so I put a stuffed animal in its cage. Cockatiels love stuffed animal. He in a good mood when he is surround by stuffed animals. Cockatiels start singing when they are in a good mood. I don’t know what song he is singing. I’m making Tonarino Totoro song remember. He rarely sings, but he will imitate a nightingale. Cockatiels love being patted on the head. He always approaches me to stroke his head, so it’s very cute. The white-tailed parakeet that I introduced before and my cockatiel are not friendly. When the white-tailed parakeet approaches, he runs away. Middle There is something to be careful about when buying medium-sized parakeets. First, Cockatiels are sensitive to heat and cold, so they need air conditions in summer and pet heaters in winter to control the temperature. Second, they must play for about an hour every day out of the cage. It’s very cute, but it’s really hard to take care of.
