My Parakeet

I would like to introduce my parakeet. My parakeet is a white-tailed parakeet. The white-tailed parakeet is a very colorful medium-size parakeet. It has an orange head, yellow cheeks, green back and wings, white chest, and yellow thighs. My parakeet's name is Koko. White-tailed parakeets live in northern Brazil and southern Venezuela in South America.

 

The parakeet is curious and very friendly. Unusually for parrots, they sometimes lie down and play. It’s so cute. But there are many difficulties. For example, they chew on clothes and make holes. Second, they bite off the leaves of house plants. So you have to watch carefully when you take it out of the birdcage. When my parakeet do this, it's also cute, so I forgive them. 

There are many cute things about parakeets. The first one is they follow after me. It’s so cute to see them walking with a pattering sound. Also, when the door of the room is closed, they knocks on the door with he beak. The second is eating food. The parakeet loves walnuts. I’m holding walnuts with my hand. Lately I’ve been into taking bird for walks. Since they fly away quickly, we put on equipment to prevent them from escaping and let them play in the garden. Having a bird can be hard at time, but it is healing for me. So I love my birds.
